My hair obeys no master. It’s fine, prone to split ends and frizzes at the first sign of moisture in the air; so I’ve always been very careful when dealing with it. I only ever blow dried it or straightened it occasionally and was always diligent in my hair care routine- gentle shampooing, conditioning and masking at least twice a week. But as soon as I hit thirty things swiftly went downhill.
If you ask me, never was there a food more perfect than chocolate. Chocolate doesn’t ask questions, chocolate understands. While it may rank highly on my personal list of priorities in life (chocolate, family, job- in that order), the sweet stuff has always had somewhat of a bad reputation as the main cause of flabby thighs and volatile acne breakouts. But contrary to this, recent research has shown that the health benefits of high quality chocolate far outweigh the negatives.
Bananas are a popular healthy addition to any diet and a great choice of post-workout fuel to replenish the body and give you a much needed energy boost. In fact, they’re my absolute most favourite fruit in every form- banana ice cream, banana pudding, muffins, pie- you name it. But who knew the humble banana could also offer so many beauty benefits. Rich in amino acids and antioxidants, everybody’s favourite yellow snack is also a great source of beauty boosting vitamins A, B and C and minerals such as potassium and zinc which can also help to keep skin in top form.
