For as long as I could remember, the backs of my arms had a smattering of dry red bumps on them. They were completely painless and only began to bother me when I moved to Dubai and wearing short sleeves became a daily occurrence.
When was the last time you exfoliated your back? Or took action on the dry, scaly skin on the backs of your legs? Yeah, me neither. When rough skin makes an appearance on our knees or elbows, most of us are quick to whip out the moisturiser and some of us are even pretty zealous about sloughing off the dead, scaly skin cells in the places we can see. But when it comes to these four less-than-visible areas of our bodies, it’s more a case of out of sight, out of mind.
