With numerous luxe editorials and a Chanel eyewear contract under her belt, Lily-Rose Depp is already making waves in the world of fashion. It’s been confirmed that the 16 year old will now take her first steps in to the beauty industry as the fresh face of Chanel’s newly updated No.5 fragrance, Chanel No.5 L’Eau.
“A young, up-and-coming actress, Lily-Rose Depp is already the face for the Chanel Pearl eyewear collection launched in September 2015. She embodies her generation and its values of freedom and boldness to perfection, bringing to the iconic fragrance of the House her youthful freshness and beauty,” Chanel said in a statement.
On Instagram, Lily posed with a giant version of a Chanel perfume bottle and expressed her excitement in the photo caption. “I am so excited to announce that I am the face of the new Chanel Chanel No.5 L’Eau!”
Lily follows in her mother Vanessa Paradis‘s footsteps, as the French supermodel has also been a Chanel ambassador since the Nineties appearing in campaigns promoting Coco Chanel fragrance and Rouge Coco lipstick.
