When it comes to modern day beauty icons, Gwen Stefani is up there with the best of them. Now, with her full range of powders, shadows and lip colours created in conjunction with Urban Decay, the singer and television personality can add beauty mogul to her expansive list of credentials.
For Stefani, a former makeup artist in her own right (who knew!), the collection was a labour of love that took two long years of planning and testing. She’s said that for her, the collection was all about finding what she really needed and wanted to use on a daily basis. So no surprises when the queen of the crimson pout came out with multiple variations of red lipstick.

The lipsticks are the perfect balance between creamy and hydrating, with rich pigments and serious staying power. Rocksteady is a silky, ruby red shade that’s perfect for channelling your inner Gwen. The lip pencils come in the same shades as the lipsticks and with the same heavy-wearing formula we’ve come to expect from the 24/7 Glide On Pencils.

The brow powder box only comes in light and dark blonde shades but they’re buildable and looked fine even on my dark brown brows.

However, for me, the star of the show is the six-pan blush palette which has everything from matte peach to golden bronzers and shimmering, candy-pink shades to help you sculpt and glow to your heart’s delight.

The impressive eyeshadow palette hit shelves in late 2015 internationally but only landed in the Middle East with the rest of this collection. The gorgeous gold hardware with white and black detailing hides 15 eye shadows: 12 sparkling neutral shades plus a vibrant pink (Harajuku), rich blue (Danger) and disco gold (1987), each aptly named by Stefani herself.
And of course, as with all UD shadows, the colour payoff is amazing and they blend like a dream.
So the moral of the story is, if you haven’t already got your makeup-loving paws on these products yet, you’d best head out to your nearest beauty counter and catch them while you can.
Have you tried these? What did you think?
