In 2003, Narciso Rodriguez launched For Her, a rich, musky fragrance that became an instant perfume icon. In 2014 Narciso Eau de Parfum came on to the scene as a natural extension of his musky classic. Now Rodriguez offers the latest addition to the Narciso olfactive story with Narciso Eau de Toilette, which as the designer himself says, “highlights the power of attraction with a more explicit sensuality that’s highly compelling.” This scent is all about seduction; and if you love a perfume that packs a punch, seduce you it will.
The Notes
Top: Peony, Bulgarian Rose
Heart: Egyptian Musk
Base: Black and White Cedar Wood, Vetiver
The Scent
With an overtly feminine floral and creamy wood-musk essence, this new Eau de Toilette version stays true to the character of the original Narciso.“Both Narciso fragrances embrace the extremes of seduction, albeit in different ways. With the eau de toilette, the idea was to further explore the mercurial nature of attraction,” explains the designer. Whilst similar in spirit, the top notes are where the differences lie. Instead of gardenia and rose, the new version has more intense harmonies of peony and Bulgarian rose. Musky, warm and long-lasting, this is a sexy, head-turner of a fragrance that’s not for the faint-hearted.
