Anthony Vaccarello is a hot commodity in the fashion world. The sleek and sexy designs of his eponymous label as well as his capsule collection for Versus Versace are loved by A-listers everywhere with everyone from Gwyneth Paltrow to J-Lo sporting his highly coveted pieces. Now the Belgian designer has another collaboration up his sleeve, partnering with Lancôme for a new makeup collection.
The makeup giant, who sponsored his star gazer makeup for his recent Fall/Winter 2015 show in Milan, has yet to reveal further details except that Vaccarello will be “reinventing Lancôme makeup with an exceptional collection,” taking over from such talents as Proenza Schouler and Lanvin‘s Alber Elbaz. On his part, the designer said that he was “inspired by the Lancôme woman’s femininity and charisma – a special kind of elegance that’s never lifeless nor frozen. For me, Lancôme embodies the philosophy of understated beauty. It’s something quintessentially French.”
The limited edition collection is set to hit stores in October 2015.
